In order to better "evolve" this fight, or endeavour, I think it's important to find out the areas that people or groups are finding effective, whether it's with government or other proponents.
I also would like to state that I think more public pressure could be brought to bear on these agencies if the aspect of "wind turbines aren't that green" could be researched, expanded, and made public. The main belief that is at the heart of public support for turbines is that they think they will reduce the use of fossil fuels. I have found out, in my occupation, from someone in Denmark, and someone in Germany, that wind turbines did NOT do this at all, in fact they thought they were a farce. More research is needed to develop this information and put it out there loudly.
My own position is that turbines are better placed in areas of the country where there is the most (and the most effective) wind. And solar power where there is the most sun in the country, etc, etc.
Are you folks finding anything that's working for you in your battle about turbines in your area? I think it's important that we share these things, so we can all be a little bit more effective.
Thanks for your time, Kathleen Gidney

Hi kathleen
There have been numerous article in The National Post Business section editorials stating those very things.
There are many articles around. It is convincing the Mass Media of this that is most problematic.
Because in Ontario we have so much compelling evidence of terrible suffering due to industrial wind turbines we are asking the question Do the risks outweigh the benefits? The answer is absolutely. Here the premier says he will close the coal fired plants to help people in Onrtario from the negative effects of coal while the ontario medical association states the 96% of all coal pollutions fomes from the US.
It goes on and on.
If you can tap into a good, objective reporter there who will start working the story it would help.
Also public information sessions
are essential.
Use any of the material from WCO.
