Annapolis Valley Health to hold Community Conversations
February 3, 2009- Annapolis Valley Health (AVH) is very concerned about accessibility to services for the citizens served by Annapolis Community Health Centre (ACHC). For some time AVH has had challenges in meeting the community’s health needs, regarding availability of services and growing concerns around access to primary health care. Our goal is for ACHC to continue to be a resource for the health of our citizens. We want to find ways that ACHC can continue to most effectively meet the needs of the community.
Part of the exploration of these challenges is to hear directly from community members. AVH would like to welcome community members to attend any of the following three Community Conversations hosted by David Logie, Chair of AVH Board of Directors and Janet Knox, AVH President and CEO. We hope you will be able to participate in one of these community meetings to share your needs and help us in planning to better serve you. We want to take this opportunity as a community to support this Health Centre to be the best it can be. Community Conversations will be held on:
February 11th, 6 – 7:30 p.m. –Annapolis West Education Centre, Gymnasium
February 16th, 3 – 4:30 p.m. – Clementsport Legion
February 16th, 6 – 7:30 p.m. – Annapolis Royal Fire Hall
