NS: NSLC earnings on the rise

[HALIFAX, NS] – The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) had a 3.8 per cent increase in net income and 4.1 per cent increase in sales compared with the same period last fiscal year.

The NSLC released its year-to-date financial performance, which because of adjustments to fit the fiscal year-end, includes six more selling days when compared with last fiscal year.

Earnings before depreciation and amortization for the six months was $129.6 million, an increase of 4.3 per cent compared with $124.3 million last year.
